Out Now: Speculative Shorts

This month feels like such an embarrassment of riches. I’m so proud to announce that I’ve had two stories published in two amazing SFF publications:

My weird fantasy “The Wilding Year” is out now in Strange Horizons. It’s about parenthood and anxiety … and teenagers transforming into strange creepy animals.

And my sci-fi story “The Architecture of Longing” is available to read in Heartlines Spec. It’s about love, regret and aging … and also humanoid aliens who grow algae in their green skin and can clone themselves if they aren’t into the whole sexual reproduction thing.

So, you know, the usual odd stuff you’d expect from me. 😛
