Jamie M. Boyd is a writer and former journalist based in Florida.

Her short fiction has appeared in Mysterion, Luna Station Quarterly and the science fiction anthology Brave New Worlds. 

As a newspaper reporter, she wrote for the St. Petersburg Times and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, where she won awards for feature, religion and education reporting and was part of the staff twice named finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for breaking news.
